National Seniors has launched an advertising campaign in Western Australian newspapers and on radio, building on media coverage of Chief Advocate Ian Henschke’s recent trip to the state.
The ad campaign (see below), which began last week, focuses on National Seniors’ advocacy for older Australians since 1976 and its recent wins, including contributing to the government’s decision to abandon its proposal to lift the pension age to 70.
As the voice of members and seniors in Canberra, National Seniors has also chalked up recent wins in helping to retain the Electricity Supplement for pensioners and is also fighting for self-funded retirees.
The advertising campaign aims to spread the word about the benefits of National Seniors membership. If you, your family or friends want to know more, call 1300 76 50 50 for further details.
Membership costs just 12 cents a day.
