Itinerary


Day 1 Arrive Perth, Margaret River region

Be met on arrival and transferred to the Pullman Bunker Bay Resort where your spacious Studio Villa, complete with well-equipped kitchenette, will be your luxurious home-base to explore the Margaret River region. Take some time to discover the features of this boutique coastal resort with an award-winning day spa, ocean-view restaurant and bar, heated infinity swimming pool, fitness centre and tennis courts. Enjoy a special welcome dinner this evening.



Stay: Five nights, Naturaliste, Pullman Bunker Bay Resort

Day 2 Margaret River, Lake Cave, Mammoth Cave

Today set off on a discovery of some of the region’s underground wonders – its cave systems. Visit Lake Cave and Mammoth Cave where you’ll see spectacular stalactite, stalagmite and shawl formations as well as dinosaur fossils. The jawbone of a long-extinct giant marsupial is embedded in the limestone walls of Mammoth Cave. Enjoy wandering through beautiful marri forests before returning to the resort where the rest of the day and evening is at leisure.

Day 3 Margaret River Wineries

This morning set off on a culinary adventure beginning at the Margaret River Chocolate Company where you’ll get to taste a sample of their hand-made premium chocolate products followed by a visit to Ashbrook Estate, a boutique winery which has been owned by the same family for more than 40 years. You’ll also visit Bettenay Wines, the Margaret River Nougat Company and the Juniper Estate Winery. Lunch, paired with wines, will be served at the legendary Vasse Felix Estate, the region’s founding winery. Here you’ll also have time to learn about the winemaking process and enjoy tastings and visit the estate’s art gallery.

Day 4 Margaret River, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

Today offers the perfect opportunity to walk off recent indulgences with a hike along a section of the renowned Cape to Cape Track. Choose to walk from Cape Naturaliste to Sugar Loaf Rock (3km) or the more energetic may opt to continue to Yallingup (total 14km). Enjoy free time to relax and enjoy the facilities of the resort.

Day 5 Margaret River, Leeuwin Estate

After a morning of leisure, head to the landmark Leeuwin Estate, one of the region’s oldest and most prestigious wineries. Here you’ll be treated to a delicious lunch, paired with their much-awarded Margaret River wines including Art Series Cabernet Sauvingon and Chardonnay. Return to Bunker Bay and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Celebrate the end of your journey with a special farewell dinner this evening.
