John was appointed to the board of National Seniors Australia Ltd (National Seniors) in November, 2020. John has been on the Council of National Seniors Australia since 2014 and on its Policy Board since 2015. In these roles, he helps shape the organisation’s powerful advocacy for seniors everywhere. John makes sure that the voices of our seniors are heard at a national level and keeps members up-to-date on how our concerns are being fed through to state and national advocacy campaigns. John has played an integral part in helping our local branch grow to the vibrant society it now is. He was President of the Executive Committee of the Port Macquarie-Hastings Branch of National Seniors for two years and recently was appointed in 2021 to join the National Seniors Audit, Risk and Finance Committee.
