With more of our lives and daily activities happening online, knowing how to navigate the digital world is more important than ever.

That’s where OSCAR comes in. nbn® has created the Online Skills Check and Resources (OSCAR) tool to help assess your digital skills and connect you with learning resources to help you on your digital journey.

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and covers four topic areas:

  • Online knowledge.

  • Device usage.

  • Data and e-safety.

  • Online communication.

OSCAR is available now to anyone who’d like to know where they’re at on their digital journey – and where there may be opportunities for improvement.

The tool has been mindfully designed to acknowledge and celebrate an individual’s current capability while demonstrating a pathway to continuous self-improvement.

Importantly, when it comes to completing the self-assessment, there are no wrong answers.

Upon completing the assessment, you’ll be guided towards a curated Resource Library containing relevant resources designed to help elevate your digital skills to the next level – and beyond – should you wish.

Upon finishing the survey, you also have the option to save your results and links to the resource library, to continue your learning journey at any time.

You can take the assessment again whenever you like to track your digital capability progress.

Measure your online skills in less than 5 minutes
