New research to coincide with Ageism Awareness Day
People with tighter finances, poorer health and aged 75+ averaged higher than their healthier and wealthier peers on a scale measuring experience of ageism, according to new research by NSA. The research also shows people stopped themselves from doing certain activities because of age-related self-consciousness or internalised ageism. NSA CEO Chris Grice discusses these findings and the need to respect older people and create inclusive environments for people of all age with ABC Brisbane’s Steve Austin.
